About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a specialist neurological care centre. This role involves coordinating high-quality, person-centred care while also providing supervision, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering and delegating care tasks in a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Promoting individual rights, preferences, and dignity
Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation
Supporting a culture of continuous learning through induction and mandatory training
Encouraging feedback and addressing concerns to enhance service user experience
Qualifications:
~ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Required Skills:
S/NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)
Numerate, literate, and competent in IT
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
Leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
Familiarity with audit processes
Role-specific competencies
Additional Information:
~ Enhanced rates apply:
~30% for weekends (Friday midnight to Sunday midnight)
~60% for public holidays (24 hours, midnight to midnight)
