Job Responsibilities
1. Perform bench work according to established scratch procedures when necessary.
2. Prepare product and form product to specifications as required according to scratch recipes.
3. Bake prepared product using appropriate time and temperature as specified by recipe.
4. Prepare Bakery products according to established recipes which include scratch recipes.
5. Properly insert products into proof box, set controls, and close door to ensure proper size and shape of product.
6. Prepare and fry donuts according to established procedures.
7. Insert products into and retrieve products from the freezer to preserve freshness.
8. Answer questions and resolve problems to ensure guest requirements are met.
9. Demonstrate appropriate suggestive selling techniques and provide active sampling when appropriate.
10. Provide exemplary customer service by greeting customers and helping them locate products. Be knowledgeable to answer questions and make suggestions.
11. Maintain safety as the top priority in all work aspects for Team Members, guests, and products.
12. Bake prepared and scratch products for the Bakery cases and displays, rotate products, and follow code dating procedures to ensure freshness.
13. Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, floor, etc., to meet safety and sanitation standards.
14. Record special orders accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.
15. Follow safety, sanitation, emergency procedures, and housekeeping standards.
16. Understand all ingredients and their purposes in manufacturing scratch baked goods.
17. Assist in maintaining Bakery backroom, cooler, and freezer efficiency by unloading deliveries.
18. Assemble necessary baking ingredients for baking operations, including all scratch recipes.
