Salary: £15,000 - 18,000 per year Requirements: We require a pragmatic and self-sufficient Data Engineer with solid practical experience of the Microsoft Fabric platform in an Enterprise setting. You should have at least 6 months of practical Fabric experience and familiarity with SQL, Pyspark/Python, and Power BI/Fabric Semantic Models. The ability to work alongside stakeholders who have their own operational pressures is essential, as is your adaptability to follow best practices even without established iteration management. Responsibilities: As part of our team, you will enhance the use of Fabric within the Finance Lakehouse, recommending setup improvements and developing existing logging and automated testing processes. You'll deliver business-as-usual (BAU) support and develop and document new features for the platform. Supporting the Architect in managing DevOps tickets and overseeing Azure and Power Platform assets is key, as well as collaborating with the Architect to establish peer review practices and assess the feasibility of implementing continuous integration (CI) builds. You'll also partner with the Architect to transition from a fail fast approach to a more stable and controlled iteration management process.
