Job Opportunity: Specialist Doctor in Cardiology

The expansion of the existing medical workforce will allow us to develop new and innovative approaches in the delivery of patient care that meet an increasing demand for our services. We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic colleague to work with the team in NHS Ayrshire and Arran as a Specialist Doctor. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of the service.

The successful candidate will be based at University Hospital Crosshouse and will join the existing team providing a Pan-Ayrshire Cardiology service.

This position is ideally suited for individuals who have completed internal medical training or have at least two years of postgraduate experience within general medicine. MRCPUK qualification is desirable.

* Opportunity to publish papers and audits under the guidance of experienced consultants
* Participation in clinical activities and one-to-one teaching
