UK & Europe Sales Manager – Vera Wang Ready-to-Wear (Luxury / Contemporary Fashion)
Our client is launching a premium Vera Wang ready-to-wear collection for women in the UK and Europe, combining contemporary design with elevated, everyday wearability. The brand includes luxury denim, and lifestyle pieces — all rooted in Vera Wang’s iconic design language.
This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new luxury fashion label backed by a globally recognised fashion group. The collection blends the creativity of a designer house with the agility of a start-up, supported by robust operational infrastructure.
The Role: UK & Europe Sales Manager (Luxury / Contemporary Fashion)
We are looking for a commercially minded Sales Manager to lead wholesale expansion across the UK and European markets, with a strong focus on premium and luxury fashion retailers.
This is both a strategic and executional role. You will be responsible for shaping the regional sales plan, opening key accounts, building long-term partnerships, and managing the end-to-end commercial process — from business planning and sell-in to sell-through performance.
You will report directly to the Group Sales Director and collaborate closely with senior leadership, product, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Development
* Build and execute the UK & Europe wholesale growth plan, aligned with overall commercial goals
* Identify, target, and open key department stores, premium e-commerce, and luxury multi-brand retailers
* Shape market-specific distribution, pricing, and margin strategies
* Contribute to seasonal sell-in calendars and sales targets
Account Management & Partner Relationships
* Manage relationships with top retail partners — from first contact to seasonal sell-through
* Present collections and lead sell-in appointments
* Collaborate on buy planning, assortments, and in-store activations
* Monitor account performance and respond in-season with commercial actions
* Oversee the order cycle — from order confirmation to delivery and reorders
* Maintain and optimise the order book in coordination with operations/logistics
* Prepare sell-in tools, pricing documents, and line sheets in partnership with sales support
Performance & Reporting
* Track and report weekly/monthly performance by account (sell-in, sell-through, margin)
* Analyse trade feedback and competitor activity to inform in-season adjustments
* Present commercial updates to Group Sales Director and senior management
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Liaise with product, merchandising, and marketing teams to tailor collections and campaigns for local market needs
* Ensure product assortments are aligned with customer and account feedback
* Contribute to go-to-market readiness including showroom set-up, sample coordination, and launch planning
Ideal Candidate
* 5–8 years of experience in wholesale sales within luxury or premium fashion
* Strong retailer network across UK and Europe, with a track record of growing revenue
* Experience with ready-to-wear, denim, or lifestyle casualwear preferred
* Confident presenting to buyers and negotiating trade terms
* Comfortable building seasonal business plans and account strategies
* Commercially analytical, organised, and hands-on
* Familiar with sell-through analysis, trade reporting, and account-level margin management
