A privately owned, multi-site organisation with annual turnover of over £80m is seeking an experienced Group Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this is a pivotal role with full accountability for the groups finance function.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving robust financial governance, supporting growth initiatives and ensuring the business has the financial insight and controls required to operate at pace.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full ownership of group finance and operations across multiple sites
* Budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning frameworks
* Production of timely and accurate consolidated statutory and management accounts, including leading the audit process
* Oversight of group-wide cashflow, liquidity management and funding arrangements to support ongoing capital investment
* Leading acquisitions and integration activity, including due diligence
* Development and ownership of capital investment approval processes
* Building, leading and developing a high-performing finance team
* Acting as a true business partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making
