CNC Engineer

£35k - £38k per annum + excellent benefits
4-Day Week (Mon–Thurs) | No Shifts
A long-established precision engineering business based in East Kilbride is looking to add an experienced CNC Engineer to its team. Supplying complex, close-tolerance components to a global client base, the company operates in a highly technical, fast-evolving sector.

The Role:
You’ll be working in a busy CNC department, programming and operating a variety of VMC machines (predominantly HAAS), and contributing to the manufacture of precision components.
Key responsibilities include:
Offline programming using SolidWorks / Mastercam
Operating CNC machines to tight tolerances
Manual machining, cutting, and grinding
Reading and interpreting CAD drawings and work instructions
Setting up tooling and inspecting parts using precision measuring equipment
Performing quality checks and maintaining a clean, safe work area
Contributing to continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiativesAbout You:
Time-served CNC Engineer with experience in a precision engineering environment
Confident programming and operating CNC machines (experience with Fanuc controls advantageous)
Good understanding of quality standards and health & safety practices
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a team-focused attitude
Capable of working independently with minimal supervisionWhat’s on Offer:
Salary circa £35k - £38k (Permanent, full-time)
4-day working week (Mon–Thurs, 37.5 hours) – no shift work
262.5 hours paid holiday
