About the Role
As an Information Systems Engineer based at Rowcroft Hospice in Torquay, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing the systems that underpin our hospice care.You’ll manage, enhance, and futureproof key patient care and business applications across both of our hospices and for our hospice partners, ensuring seamless and effective service delivery.
You'll collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to provide technical support, drive system enhancements, and uphold robust security standards.
What you’ll bring:
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced IT professional with a passion for service excellence and problem-solving. You’ll bring a user-focused mindset, and be confident managing both applications and databases. You will also have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and proven experience with application/system management and support
A relevant degree or professional certification (e.g. MCSA, Azure, ITIL), experience in healthcare or clinical systems and knowledge of cloud computing and change/project management would be advantageous but not essential.
Other Information
* Flexibility for scheduled and ad hoc out-of-hours support is essential.
* Travel within the Southwest of England will be required.

This role has been identified as an on-site worker and will work at Rowcroft for the majority of your working time and spend planned time at other hospice sites. Remote working may be agreed subject the needs of the role.
