Your Role as a SEND Teacher
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons for pupils with diverse learning needs
* Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other SEND profiles
* Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual targets
* Collaborate with SENCOs, families, and external professionals to develop and review IEPs
* Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional and social development
* Lead and guide Teaching Assistants and Learning Support staff
* Uphold SEND legislation and school policies to ensure high standards of care and education
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Degree or PGCE in Primary, Secondary, or Special Education
* Experience in SEND settings is beneficial but not essential
* Strong understanding of inclusive teaching and behaviour management
* Excellent communication, planning, and classroom leadership skills
* Compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to teaching
* Additional training in safeguarding, Team Teach, or first aid is a bonus
