Job Title – Law Costs Draftsperson
Hours - Full Time / Part Time - Flexible Hours
Location – Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities
* Drafting detailed bills of costs for a variety of cases, including:
* Personal Injury
* Industrial Disease
* Clinical Negligence
* Credit Hire
* Commercial Litigation
* Preparing schedules of costs and statements for trial
* Advising clients on cost recovery, settlement options, and technical issues (in writing or over the phone)
* Drafting and negotiating Cost Budgets, including documentation for CCMCs
* Attending CCMC/CMC hearings to advocate for budgets and directions
* Conducting file reviews and updating case progress using Proclaim
* Meeting daily chargeable time and annual billing targets
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in cost drafting, with a comprehensive understanding of various case types
* Proficiency in using a case management system and Costs Master (cost drafting software)
