We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Residential Childcare Manager to join Inspire and play a key role in supporting our homes in the Cumbria area, with the potential to open a new home in Carlisle itself.
This is more than a management role; it’s about creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care while leading, guiding, and supporting your team to deliver positive outcomes for every young person in your care.

What we’re looking for
* Previous experience working in a residential childcare setting
* A solid understanding of Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) principles
* Experience with Care Inspectorate or OFSTED processes
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead with calm, confidence, and compassion
* A full driving licence
* A relevant qualification: Social Work qualification, Registered Managers Award, or SVQ Level 4 (with SSSC registration) or willing to work towards
