Our client, a well-established design & build, fit-out, and refurbishment contractor, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. With a £25M turnover and a 35-strong team, they deliver a wide range of commercial projects valued between £100k and £9M. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial construction projects and be local to the Halifax area. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established team and manage two projects from the get go. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Benefits: Salary: £55k - £70k (DOE) 28 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays Company car or car allowance Casual hybrid working policy Career progression opportunities within a growing business Supportive commercial team of five Senior Quantity Surveyor - Role Overview: Managing all commercial aspects of design & build, fit-out, and refurbishment projects Preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and procurement schedules Handling subcontractor negotiations, valuations, and final accounts Overseeing contract variations, risk management, and budget control Providing financial reporting and forecasting to senior management Ensuring projects are delivered on budget and in line with contractual requirements Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and project teams to maintain smooth project progress Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements: Previous experience in commercial D&B, fit-out, and refurbishment projects Ideally suited for a QS or a strong AQS looking to take the next step Strong financial and contractual knowledge Ability to manage multiple projects ranging from £100k to £9M Must be local to Halifax Full UK driving licence This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contractor working on a variety of commercial projects.
