Textbook Teachers are a reputable and transparent Education Recruitment Agency that supports local Primary Schools with their Supply needs. These needs can vary from day-to-day to short/long-term cover. The role below is for a temporary Year 3 teacher Maternity cover role, starting in January 2026, finishing July 2026.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Year 3 Teacher to cover maternity leave. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the class, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with children, other teaching staff, and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning abilities.
Duties
 * Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
 * Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
 * Utilise effective communication skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
 * Collaborate with other staff members to develop inclusive teaching strategies that benefit all learners.
Qualifications
 * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
 * Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
 * Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
 * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
 * A creative approach to lesson planning that incorporates innovative teaching methods.
