This role involves covering planned absences within the team and ensuring the delivery of consultant-led obstetric and gynaecological services in Hereford. Responsibilities include:
* Providing clinical leadership and leading by example.
* Developing and implementing standards of obstetric and gynaecological practice, including pathways, guidelines, and risk management.
* Training and educating staff within a multidisciplinary team.
* Ensuring effective teamwork.
* Applying clinical experience to diagnosis and opinion.
* Auditing practice effectiveness and making necessary modifications.
* Collaborating with nurses, midwives, administrative staff, managers, and colleagues.
Flexibility may be required, such as covering additional sessions or participating in hot week duties to support colleagues.
