We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Manager with previous experience in the architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry. Excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and generate sales for the business and offer recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Key Responsibilities
Working with marketing to identify and evaluate new business opportunities
Meeting with potential clients, online and in person, to discuss their needs nationally
Handling the sales process which includes pre-sales, sales and after sales, via email, face to face and telephone
Generation of quotes and follow-up
Coordination with other team members to establish pricing
Checking of drawings to ensure they meet required specifications
Preparing monthly reports on sales activity and KPI improvement activity
Delivering CPD presentations online and in person
Knowledge and Skills
Must have previous experience in architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Excellent people management skills
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Experience in customer relationship management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
