Job Title: Demolition Supervisor Location: Rugeley Duration: Approx. 20 weeks Rate: Negotiable (depending on experience) About the Role: LRL are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Demolition Supervisor to join our team for a major project in Rugeley. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in site supervision and demolition operations to take the lead on a long-term contract estimated to run for 20 weeks. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day demolition activities on site to ensure the project runs safely, efficiently, and to schedule. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project plans, site safety protocols, and industry best practices. Liaise closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project management to maintain clear communication and coordination throughout the works. Prepare and deliver site inductions and task-specific briefings to ensure all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities. Implement and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) in collaboration with the HSQE team. Conduct regular Tool Box Talks to reinforce health and safety policies and promote best practice across site. Provide accurate, timely reports to management and escalate issues as necessary. Engage with local residents and stakeholders as needed to maintain good community relations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Demolition Supervisor on large-scale projects. Strong understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSQE) systems. Confident in delivering briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks to site teams. Experience with RAMS implementation and documentation. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Valid and up-to-date industry certifications (CCDO Gold Card, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, etc., desirable). Why Join LRL?
