Salary:£29,000 + Sleep-In Payments + Overtime
Hours: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week (includes evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)
Home: 6-Bed Ofsted-Regulated Childrens Home
Are you a caring and resilient Support Worker looking to make a real difference in young peoples lives? We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Southampton-based residential team, supporting children aged 8-18 with complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a career in trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent care and daily support, including personal care, routines, meals, and medication
* Build strong relationships and act as a trusted role model
* Support education, life skills, and social development
* Ensure safeguarding and report any concerns promptly
* Work with professionals such as Social Workers and Therapists
Were Looking For a Support Worker Who
* Communicates well and builds positive rapport
* Remains calm, patient, and compassionate under pressure
* Can work shifts, including sleep-ins
* Holds or is willing to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
* Has (or is willing to get) an Enhanced DBS
