SPARE PARTS & SERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
KILDARE – role is 100% remote covering a large region throughout Ireland
SALARY CIRCA £40-45K PLUS COMMISSION DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Our client specialises in the sale, hire, and service of industrial, agricultural, and forestry machinery. The company distributes a range of new and used equipment across various sectors, including recycling, construction, and quarrying. They are now seeking a Spare Parts & Service Sales Representative to join their team.
As a Spare Parts and Service Sales Representative, you will be selling parts and service solutions to clients to grow revenue by building customer relationships, handling orders, and providing after-sales support.
Key responsibilities include making introductory calls, processing orders, offering technical advice, and promoting products and services to both new and existing customers who already have the machines. The role requires excellent communication, organisational and technical skills.
Core Responsibilities
* Sales & Customer Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to identify and sell parts, service contracts, and refurbishment opportunities.
* Order Processing:
Handle inbound customer enquiries about parts, pricing, and availability, then accurately and efficiently process orders.
* Technical Support:
Provide customers with part knowledge and technical support, and recommend parts to improve sales or meet customer needs.
* Proactive Sales:
Conduct machine inspections to identify potential breakdowns and additional service work. Also, attend new equipment deliveries to secure service maintenance contracts and extended warranty opportunities.
* Revenue growth:
Develop and execute sales growth strategies, manage accounts, and meet sales objectives for an assigned territory or branch.

* Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and other departments.
* Technical Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the products and services being sold is necessary to advise customers effectively.
* Organisational Skills:
Strong organisational and time-management skills are required to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
* Customer Service:
Good customer service skills are needed to build rapport and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Sales & Negotiation:
The ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate to close sales is critical.
* Self-motivation:
A high degree of self-motivation is needed to work independently and achieve sales targets.
