Job Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a fast‑paced, high‑volume industrial site. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for site performance, including production, engineering, and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Drive efficiency, quality, and output while holding P&L accountability.
* Lead cross‑functional teams across production and engineering.
* Own health & safety, regulatory compliance, audits, and engineering strategy, including PPM and asset reliability.
* Act as second‑in‑command, deputising for the General Manager and ensuring continuity of leadership across the site.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements
* Proven experience in an operations or production management role within a fast‑paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Strong leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams, including production and engineering.
Requirements
* Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility.
* Strong understanding of production efficiency, output, and quality management.
* Experience overseeing engineering maintenance strategies, including PPM.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and regulatory compliance within an industrial setting.
* Experience leading internal and external audits.
* Strong people management and disciplinary experience.
* Supplier and contractor management experience.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience within high‑volume processing or continuous operation environments.
* Knowledge of ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Familiarity with lifting operations and pressure systems regulations.
* Experience managing critical plant or utilities equipment.
