Senior Leisure Attendant Location: Manchester City Centre (on-site) Reporting to: Building Operations Manager Role Overview Lead and mentor a small team of Leisure Attendants while managing all pool, spa and plant-room operations for a new residential development. You’ll ensure impeccable cleanliness, strict health & safety compliance and deliver outstanding customer service to residents. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Supervise daily pool and spa services, adhering to PSOP and RLSS guidelines Conduct health & safety inspections and manage bather loads Perform plant-room maintenance: water testing, backwashing and chemical handling Order and stock pool chemicals and equipment Team Leadership Line-manage three Leisure Attendants: scheduling, performance reviews and coaching Drive high team standards through one-to-ones, development plans and regular meetings Ensure all staff follow policies, processes and regulatory requirements Oversee contractors, resolve disputes and escalate issues as needed Customer & Incident Response Handle resident queries, requests and complaints with professionalism Monitor pool-area CCTV and emergency alarms; manage visitor access Respond decisively to emergencies or incidents to protect resident safety Compliance & Administration Complete accurate logs, incident reports and risk-assessment reviews Maintain up-to-date qualifications and training (NPLQ, COSHH, etc.) Assist with quieter-period duties and relay resident feedback to the team Skills & Experience Essential: NPLQ qualification; strong crisis-management and communication skills Desirable: First Aid at Work/Emergency Responder certification; Pool Plant Operator Cert.
