About the Role
To be a successful Assistant Store Manager you will:
* Support the Store Manager in providing leadership, inspiring the team, and covering the store when needed
* Create an atmosphere that delivers amazing service, achieves performance targets, and maintains accurate stock processes in a commercial, operationally efficient and safe environment
* Deliver the best possible Bath & Body Works experience in store, including passionately advising and selling products while acting as a brand ambassador and maintaining the store space
* Ensure the store meets all legal and compliance requirements within your responsibilities
* Demonstrate a hands‑on approach to all operational and commercial activities alongside the team
* Show resilience during periods of change and embrace feedback to continue to drive results
* Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate communication to meet business needs
* Work 37.25 hours per week with shift times: Sun 11:30‑18:15; Mon 12:45‑21:15; Wed 09:45‑18:15; Thu 09:45‑18:15; Fri 12:45‑21:15
About You
* You are passionate about customers and our fragrance and skincare products, creating a great working atmosphere and team spirit
* You have exceptional commercial understanding and know how to create a fantastic shopping experience for our customers
* You are a team player who thrives in a results‑driven, fast‑paced and challenging environment, adapting quickly to change and bringing the team on board with new objectives
* You are an effective communicator who remains calm and approachable under pressure, and can work naturally with people at all levels
* You confidently solve problems, make sound business decisions, challenge processes, and generate innovative ideas to move the business forward
* You have experience in leading and coaching a high‑performing team and effectively dealing with people issues
* You are a multi‑tasker who can plan, organise, and prioritise your workload
In accordance with Home Office guidance successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.
This role is not one we would typically consider for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route due to the relevant Home Office requirements on skills level not being met. Candidates are therefore encouraged to consider their own right to work options without Next sponsorship.
