My client is an award winning regional contractor looking to recruit a Company Accountant/Finance Manager to join their business on a full time permanent basis. Ideally you will have worked for a construction company previously although this is not essential. This role would suit a proactive, dynamic person with lots of drive and vision. Duties and responsibilities include: CIS/VAT knowledge for Construction Industry CIS/VAT Submissions Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Management Accounts o Accruals/Prepayments o Full reconciliations Produce Cashflow Forecasts Management of Audit by external accountant Regular Bank monitoring/transfers etc Subcontractor Payments/ checking insurances/order status o Fixed Assets o Bank reconciliations Prepare and Issue P11Ds CITB Levy submissions Provide information for Office for National Statistics Assist procurement of Performance Bonds/Section agreement Prepare and administer Expenses B&CE Pension Submissions PAYE Full time 39 Hours/office-based role Role unsuitable for Hybrid working Established circa 50 years ago with exceptional staff retainment/length of service.
