You will be responsible for
Ensuring the team complies with legal standards and company procedures at all times.
Reducing stock loss by addressing causes of shrinkage and wastage.
Minimizing replenishment costs by ensuring efficient stock handling, appropriate product placement based on sales rate, and maintaining accuracy and security in the goods receiving department.
Collaborating with the stock control and delivery teams to resolve issues related to off-sales.
Ensuring effective replenishment to maintain product availability for customers.
You will need
To be successful, you should be passionate about delivering exceptional operational standards. Flexibility in management style, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges are essential. Enjoying team management and working collaboratively is important.
Excellent communication skills are required, and some experience in supervising or managing a team is preferred.
Experience in food retailing is desirable but not essential.
