Commercial Property Solicitor – Kettering (NQ–3 PQE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-established and reputable team based in Kettering. The firm is recognised in the Legal 500, providing an ideal platform for solicitors to progress their careers in commercial property law.
Role Overview:
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and engage directly with clients from the outset of transactions to completion. You will be fully supported by a dedicated and experienced team, including six Partners, while also benefiting from the collaborative network across the Northamptonshire offices. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality matters with a diverse client base, ranging from individuals to corporates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle a variety of commercial property matters, including lease agreements, freehold transactions, and development projects.
2. Work on agricultural and land-based property issues.
3. Represent clients such as SIPPs, SASSs, corporates, and individuals in property dealings.
4. Liaise with commercial lenders and assist with financial matters related to property transactions.
5. Assist in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, including Option Agreements, Promotion Agreements, and Overage arrangements.
The Person:
6. You will be a qualified solicitor with between NQ and 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
7. Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law and practical experience in handling a varied caseload.
8. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills.
9. The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
10. A proactive and ambitious approach to business development and client relationships.
11. An eye for detail with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
