This is a full‑time, long‑term role with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take on a higher level of responsibility in the classroom. This role would be particularly well‑suited to someone with a strong background in behaviour management, youth work, or pastoral support, who is passionate about helping pupils engage positively with their learning. Key Responsibilities: Leading whole‑class learning in the teacher's absence and supporting high‑quality teaching across the school. Supporting pupils with behavioural needs, helping them regulate, focus, and reach their potential. Delivering small‑group interventions and tailored learning activities. Creating a purposeful, positive classroom environment and modelling strong behaviour expectations. Working closely with teaching staff to plan, adapt, and deliver engaging learning activities. Providing guidance and support to other support staff where needed. Requirements: HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level. Strong background in behaviour management (school, youth work, coaching, or similar). Full‑time availability for a long‑term placement. Confident leading whole‑class learning and supporting a range of pupil needs. Excellent communication, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
