Job Vacancy: Web Shop Administrator
Location: Maldon, Essex
Hours: 40 hours per week (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)
Role Overview
The Web Shop Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our online retail platform. You will ensure product listings are accurate, engaging, and up-to-date, while supporting the smooth running of our web shop. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication with suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create, update, and maintain product listings, ensuring descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate and appealing.
* Use AI and creative tools to generate compelling product descriptions and marketing content.
* Monitor stock levels and product availability, liaising with suppliers and internal teams as required.
* Process web shop orders and coordinate with warehouse/dispatch teams to ensure timely fulfilment.
* Provide first-line support to colleagues and customers for web shop-related queries.
* Analyse and report on website performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure all online content adheres to company guidelines and deadlines.
* Assist with promotional campaigns, seasonal updates, and special offers.
* Carry out general administrative duties to support the Web Shop and Retail team.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
* Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms (desirable).
* Accuracy with numbers and data entry.
Salary & Benefits:
* £25,000 - £27,000 Depending on experience
