Role Description
This is a full-time field-based role for a Construction Project Manager based in Chelmsford with projects spanning the entirety of Essex. The Construction Project Manager will oversee and coordinate garden room construction projects from inception to completion. This includes managing project budgets, creating schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Managing garden room and annexe projects from groundworks to final completion
Coordinating subcontractors and trades on-site
Consulting directly with clients throughout the build process
Preparing and managing schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
Conducting regular site visits and quality inspections
Ensuring compliance with building regulations and health & safety standards
Resolving on-site challenges efficiently and professionally
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reporting
Always representing the company professionally
Qualifications
Proficiency in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, and Project Management
Experience with Project Coordination and effective communication across teams
Strong skills in Budgeting and fiscal management for projects
Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards within the construction industry
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
Previous experience with bespoke construction or garden room projects is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
