Interim Reconciliations Specialist
3 Month Contract | Remote (Monthly Office Visit - Dundee)£220-250 per day, depending on experience PAYE ASAP Start
We are currently supporting a fresh produce supply business seeking an experienced Reconciliations Specialist to assist with a short-term project focused on cleansing and reconciling historical financial data.
This role will involve reviewing 3-4 years of complex transactional data, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring outbound income from the UK entity is accurately reconciled with related European entities.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and improving data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and cleanse historical financial data
* Reconcile outbound income transactions from the UK entity
* Align financial records with Spanish entities where required
* Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies
* Split and reallocate transactional data across multiple records where necessary
* Work closely with the Financial Controller to deliver the project
About You
* Strong background in reconciliations or financial data clean-up
* Comfortable working with complex or fragmented datasets
* Qualified accountant or QBE
* Strong Excel and analytical skills
* Able to work autonomously and proactively
Additional Information
* Initial 3-month contract
* Predominantly remote
* 1 day per month in the office north of Dundee required
