📍 Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom
🔧 Position: FAA A&P Mechanic
✈️ Aircraft Experience: 747-400 experience preferred; other widebody experience also considered
📆 Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing
⏰ Shift Pattern: Flexible
🧰 Start Date: Immediate and rolling throughout the year
💷 Pay Rates: New, updated competitive rates
🎓 Training: Gen Fam courses available
Requirements:
* Valid FAA A&P license
* Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft maintenance (wide-body preferred)
* Knowledge of B747 systems (CF6 or PW4000 experience is a plus)
* Must be eligible to work in the UK
* Ability to follow technical data, maintenance manuals, and complete documentation accurately
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment
* Flexibility to work day/night shifts and weekends as needed
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
* Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify faults and carry out corrective action.
* Ensure accurate and complete maintenance documentation.
* Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and airworthiness standards at all times
* Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other mechanics to ensure timely aircraft turnaround.
