Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an exceptional Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team and play a leading role in our ambitious digital transformation journey.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across our enterprise data platform, designing and delivering robust, scalable and secure data engineering solutions across both cloud and on‑premise environments.
You will have:
* Significant experience designing and building automated, scalable data pipelines.
* Advanced Python and SQL development skills.
* Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies, including BigQuery, Airflow/Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, Dataform and Dataplex.
* Experience delivering complex technical projects in fast‑paced environments.
* A passion for mentoring others and developing high‑performing engineering teams.
* The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
