Army Training Centre Pirbright (ATC(P)), a dynamic and fast-paced military training environment. You will play a key role in supporting the operational effectiveness of the unit by ensuring the efficient management and maintenance of the Dismounted Close Combat Trainer (DCCT) facilities, ensuring a fully functioning system and a safe environment for training to be conducted.
Main Role Responsibilities
* Conduct DCCT inspection and fault-finding on a regular basis.
* Maintenance of the DCCT System, ensuring full serviceability and availability of the system.
* Assemble and disassemble DCCT hardware system components as required.
* Conduct essential maintenance of the weapon systems and provide first line support.
* Complete mandatory checks, including system stress tests, inspection of IT equipment and inspection of weapon systems.
* Report any loss of equipment to Abbey Wood.
* Carry out duties commensurate with the appointment and Ministry of Defence Civil Service grade required by Line Manager or Chain of Command.
* Complete the DCCT Managers Course when in role.

* Accuracy & Attention to detail, ensuring correct record of stock, legal compliance and traceability of issued items.
* Ability to follow Procedures and Regulations, including defence policies, safety instructions and local standing orders.
* Excellent Communication skills to work effectively with the team and unit personnel of all levels.
* Supporting others, sharing responsibilities and contributing to a positive working environment.
* Basic IT Literacy skills using the inventory system, emails and electronic documentation confidently.
* Able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage a varied workload in a busy environment.
* The role may involve handling items, moving stock and working in a store environment.
