Scheme Project Manager - 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35) | Hybrid Stockport
About the role:
We're recruiting a Project Manager for a leading UK infrastructure organisation. You'll lead the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of rail-related works, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with standards, legislation and CDM regulations. This is a 6-month contract, inside IR35, hybrid in Stockport (3 days per week on site).
Key responsibilities:
Deliver works projects safely, to time, cost and quality, in line with governance, standards and legislation.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Ensure CDM compliance and drive a positive safety culture; support incident/accident investigations when required.
Build and maintain the baseline plan, manage resources and critical path and track progress, risks, issues and contingency.
Manage stakeholders (internal/external) with clear communication and reporting.
Oversee budget management, change control and configuration management per internal processes.
Support business cases and lifecycle documentation with the Project Manager.Essential experience:
Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
APM membership or equivalent, ideally chartered/working toward.
Proven application of CDM regulations on infrastructure projects.
Strong project delivery track record.
Budget management expertise and sound commercial awareness.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Demonstrable safety management experience in project environments.Desirable:
Rail/infrastructure experience.
Exposure to NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
PRINCE2/PMI credentials.Contract & pay:
6 months, Inside IR35
