The successful candidate will be expected to attend Argyle House in Stevenage three days per week onsite, with occasional travel across the regional area and occasionally outside the region.
Hybrid working arrangements are available where business needs allow. This flexible role blends working from a base location, MoJ sites or home (only in the UK).
Responsibilities
Provide a senior corporate services leadership role including:
* Operate at middle management level, leading, developing and supporting staff.
* Manage budgets, procurement, financial oversight and value for money in corporate operations.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, senior leaders, external partners and supporting agencies.
* Prepare high quality reports, briefings and business updates for senior leadership teams.
* Lead or contribute to audits, inspections, quality assurance and organisational compliance activities; support corporate governance, risk management, Health & Safety, equality and diversity and organisational policy implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have:
* NVQ Level 5 or equivalent in a relevant subject, or appropriate practical experience.
* Strong Leadership, Decision‑making, Pace‑driven and Communication skills.
* Appropriate security clearance: DBS Standard.
