Do you have the passion and skills to inspire positive change in children, young people and their families? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment alongside committed, like-minded professionals? If you're driven by impact and collaboration, we want to hear from you.
Hull Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a statutory, multi-agency partnership working to prevent offending and re-offending, safeguard children and young people, protect the public and support victims – helping to repair harm and create brighter futures.
As a Youth Justice Officer, you'll play a vital role in transforming lives. You'll manage cases in line with Youth Justice Board Case Management Guidance, building meaningful relationships and delivering targeted interventions that make a real difference. Your work will focus on engagement, assessment, planning and intervention delivery, while ensuring robust safeguarding and public protection.
You'll carry out in-depth assessments with children, young people and their families – identifying risks, needs and promoting strengths. Working within a strong multi-agency team with police, health, children's social care and early help services, you'll champion access to both universal and specialist services, ensuring young people and their families get the right support at the right time.
You'll also produce high-quality reports that inform decision-making across a range of settings, including courts, referral order panels and child protection conferences.
This is a role that offers variety, challenge and reward. You'll be expected to work flexibly, including Saturday and bank holiday cover on a rota basis, as part of a service committed to delivering the best outcomes for our community.
If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and be part of a team that truly changes lives, apply today.
