Independent management of own book of Corporate/Commercial Claims with responsibility for:
o Development and implementation of bespoke service strategies that align with each client's needs and risk profile.
o Proactively manage claims from cradle to grave, ensuring timely notification, monitoring, and resolution in accordance with Thomas Carroll procedures.
o Adopt an agile and effective approach to fast paced and demanding claims timescales
o Review and verify claim validity prior to submission to insurers.
o Support clients through the claims process by coordinating collation of the required documentation whilst proactively facilitating communication with insurers and/or their representatives.
o Attend claims investigation and review meetings, acting as a trusted advisor.
o Negotiate appropriate interim payments and ensure financial records are accurately maintained and reconciled with insurers.
o Provide regular client reporting and insightful claims analysis to highlight trends, challenges, risk and cost-saving opportunities.
o Conduct claims audits, deliver training sessions, and support claims preparation efforts to meet client needs and expectations.
o Collaborate with internal teams ensuring a wrap around with client service and support
o Maintain accurate, up-to-date claims records and management information.
o Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurers, and suppliers.
o Promote cross-selling opportunities by introducing clients to other Group interests.
o Lead or participate in claims-related projects as required.
Represent the Company at external client, supplier and professional functions.
Manage Continuous Professional Development in accordance with CII/CILA guidance and use available internal/external resource to support delivery of expert technical knowledge.
Support Head of Claims with Complex & Technical claims for the wider team as required
Mentor and/or share best practice and technical claims knowledge for benefit of the wider Team
