You will partner with the top water clients in the UK to help develop better ways of obtaining, cleaning, and distributing water for local communities. The role offers the chance to step into leadership as you progress to Senior Principal Civil Engineer and to contribute to large, iconic projects across the UK and Ireland.
About You
• Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, ideally Chartered and a member of a relevant engineering institution.
• Preferable experience working within the water industry and knowledge of Process and MEICA disciplines.
• Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to develop solutions from need to detailed design, support and manage project team members, conduct scoping and design within required time‑frames and budgets, and produce and check technical reports.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate project teams across large UK and Ireland water projects.
* Develop and deliver comprehensive solutions, from initial need assessment to detailed design.
* Manage project scoping, timelines, budgets, and technical reporting.
* Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
* Assist in securing and maintaining strategic client relationships across water sector stakeholders.
