About the Role:
Springwood School in Swinton, Salford is seeking passionate, hands-on SEN Teaching Assistants to support their primary-aged learners (5–11 years). Students follow an experiential, play-based curriculum and require varying levels of support.
This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a nurturing, inclusive environment. We have immediate openings and confirmed placements for September – the school is ready to welcome new staff tomorrow!
Student Needs:
You will support:
* ADHD and Autism: Lower support needs, focus on classroom engagement
* Complex PMLD Students:
* Wheelchair users
* Tube feeding and seizure management
* Personal care requirements
Ideal Candidate:
We are especially keen to hear from:
* Psychology graduates/students
* Experienced nursery practitioners
* Care workers with medical or complex needs experience
We’re looking for people who:
* Are fully engaged in the classroom (this is not a passive role)
* Have a real passion for SEN and inclusive education
* Can confidently model positive behaviours and communication
Requirements:
* Full enhanced DBS on the update service or a physical paper copy matching your home address
* Previous experience in SEN, care, or early years settings is highly desirable
