We are looking for an experienced Crane Supervisor who holds a valid A62 CPCS Crane Supervisor Licence (blue card) AND Appointed Person qualification, to join our Aberdeen depot.

Job Purpose/Objectives of a Crane Supervisor
To direct and supervise lifting operations to the required standard and quality ensuring priority is given to the safety of employees, customers and the public.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities of a Crane Supervisor
12. Must direct and supervise the lifting operation as per the Method Statement.
13. Must be capable of interpreting the Risk Assessment and Associated Drawings.
14. Must be able to give clear instructions to the lift team.
15. Must be capable of assessing and stopping the lifting operation if things are not going to plan and refer to the Appointed Person.
16. Work in accordance with BS7121 parts 1 and 3.
17. Continually seek to improve the way in which the role operates within the business to achieve its objectives.
Person Specification
Education/Knowledge/Experience for a Crane Supervisor
18. CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor (Blue Card)
19. CPCS A61 Appointed Person (Blue Card)
20. Previous experience working as a Crane Supervisor.
21. Previous experience working as an Appointed Person.
22. Ability to produce RAMS.
23. Able to interpret the Risk Assessment and associated drawings.
24. Sound knowledge of BS7121 parts 1 & 3.
Skills/Abilities
25. Strong verbal communicator.
26. Strong decision maker with the confidence to challenge decisions made from senior members of staff.
