Pyrland School, in addition to being part of Richard Huish Trust, is currently being supported by the Midsomer Norton School's Partnership, is looking to appoint a committed, caring and inspirational professional to fill the role of Science Technician as soon as possible. We are seeking an excellent candidate with a passion for education and the ability to motivate and enthuse students, deepening their knowledge and understanding. In addition to this, the successful candidate will manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning.
* Salary: Grade 13 Point 6 currently £25,989 FTE (actual on 26 hours = £15,638 per annum)
* Hours: 26 hours per week, 39 weeks a year
* Contract: Permanent

Pyrland School is an 11-16 academy in the north of Taunton. With modern, impressive facilities, the academy currently caters for approximately 1000 students, with an increasing roll anticipated to see numbers rise to in the region of 1200 over the next few years.
