Marine Advisor Initial 2 Year Contract Kingston upon Thames, Surrey – 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week from home Outside IR35 A Marine Advisor is required to work for a large offshore installation contractor on a large UK Energy project that will offer very long term work. As the Marine Advisor, you will ideally have experience within Offshore Installation projects across the Offshore Wind sector/ similar sectors and there will be an aspect of traveling to site as part of this role. As the Marine Advisor you will be part of the Offshore Wind Business Line within the Installation Method department. You will interface with various projects and department like engineering, procurement, HSE, Quality and planning discplines in the provision of maritimes advice. Responsibilities: As the Marine Advisor you will be writing scopes of work, documentation for vessels to use on projects marine operation Creating the specifications needed for the vessels used for the operations As the Marine Advisor you will be reviewing technical bid evaluations and proposals Establishing procedures and method statements Being involved in marine assurance As the Marine Advisor you will input into the development of offshore engineering methods and project execution strategies relating to marine and vessel operations HAZIDS, HAZOPS and other formal risk assement processes What are we looking for?
