Job details
* Preparation of reports involving the valuation of business interests, quantification of damages, income and/or business loss, and income analysis for family law purposes;
* Analysis of legal and financial documentation such as legal agreements, financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations;
* Gathering and analysis of investment and transactional data from public and licensed sources;
* Working towards completion of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/or other relevant designations;
* Experience with external/internal audits is preferred;
* Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access);
* Advanced knowledge of Excel, including financial formulas and forecasting spreadsheets;
* Strong strategic thinking, research, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills;
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships;
* Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with staff and clients;
* Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters;
* Teamwork and support for team goals;
* Strong commitment to quality and accuracy;
* Completion of a University Accounting degree and working towards CPA designation;
* Understanding of WSIB, CRA requirements for reports and submissions;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
* Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple engagements;
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Tax Prep, QuickBooks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
