An opportunity has come up to work within our busy Research and Development team at UHD. The department is involved in the set-up, design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials and other clinical research studies. This role will focus on the financial elements of study set up and agreeing commercial budgets; proactively invoicing for commercial trials and patient travel expenses. We work in collaboration with research teams and hospital departments, other NHS Trusts, commercial and academic partners. Based in the central R&D office and sharing our passion and enthusiasm for clinical research in the NHS, you will be required to work across the research portfolio under the supervision of the Research Finance Manager. We are looking for someone with research management experience and with finance experience. This person will be required to work across the Trust independently and to manage their own workload. You will have an understanding of research and/or finances and enthusiasm to adopt new processes. An informal chat is highly recommended. Please contact.
