Overview of the Role As a Playwork Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and secure atmosphere where children can learn, play, and grow. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, creating staff rotas, planning engaging activities, and supervising day-to-day operations of the club. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a childcare setting is essential. Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Childcare or Playwork. Full driving licence and ability to drive to local schools. Willingness to attend training in Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, and 12-hour Paediatric First Aid. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
