Role Purpose
We are seeking a Store Manager who is self‑driven, detail‑oriented, reliable, energetic, approachable and possesses extensive knowledge of fashion trends. The Store Manager will maximise store targets, deliver retail excellence, motivate the team and nurture a creative store environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a brand ambassador and embody the brand “Selling Ceremony” to provide an outstanding in‑store customer experience.
* Team development: coach and coach the team to exceed store objectives and KPIs, monitor individual sales KPIs, and maintain shop‑floor presence.
* Commercial leadership: analyse commercial aspects, identify new methods to increase turnover and KPIs, and communicate efficiently with the Head of Retail.
* Operations: operate the till system, payments and fraud prevention; create rotas, manage staffing levels, handle inventory, loss prevention and report discrepancies.
* Commercial & Merchandising: manage deliveries, replenish stock, implement visual merchandising guidelines, and maintain shop‑floor and windows standards.
* Optics: deliver technical tasks, ensure safe supply of eyewear, order and verify glasses collections, and adjust glasses.
* Human resources: train and develop the team, identify growth potential, motivate and recognise achievements, monitor staff reviews and employee probations.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualities
* Eager to learn, develop yourself and others.
* At least 1 year of experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role.
* Strong organisational, communication, customer service and problem‑solving abilities.
* High motivation & enthusiasm toward the Jimmy Fairly brand.
* Passion for retail and current fashion and retail market trends.
* Proactive problem‑solver, adaptive to new situations.
* Understanding of business KPIs and capability to develop them.
* Positive, proactive attitude and knowledge of team motivation.
* Sense of store responsibilities and priorities.
* Prior optical industry experience is an advantage.
