Role Responsibilities
* Managing your own portfolio of clients, including a mix of SMEs, family-run companies, and fast-growing businesses
* Overseeing the delivery of annual accounts, corporation tax returns, and financial advisory projects
* Acting as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them navigate challenges and seize opportunities
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing work, and providing ongoing guidance
* Collaborating with directors and senior management on workflow planning, team development, and business growth
* Playing an active role in identifying opportunities for additional services and client onboarding
* Ensuring high levels of service quality, accuracy, and deadline compliance

Candidate Requirements
* ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified, with significant post-qualification experience in a UK accountancy practice
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients across sectors
* Excellent technical knowledge across accounts and tax compliance
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
* A confident communicator and trusted adviser, comfortable dealing directly with business owners and senior stakeholders
* Commercially aware, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and spotting growth opportunities
