NUVIA UK is seeking an experienced Planner to support with our nuclear defence projects. As the project Planner with P6 experience, you will support the delivery of an integrated programme of work, support the Planning Manager with schedule integrity and development and reporting. Where required to, the Planner will help support the Assistant Planner.
Please note due to project requirements you must be a sole British national who already holds or is eligible to obtain SC security clearance.
As the Planner you will also be responsible for:
5. Produce and maintain the schedule in P6.
6. Work closely with the Project Manager and Delivery Teams to gather progress to facilitate accurate schedule updates and development.
7. Carry out Quality checks on the programme, within the client’s internal programme and supplier programmes.
8. Update the Clients programme in accordance with internal processes, producing month end reports and outputs for the Project team and relevant Stakeholders.
9. Build/develop Integrated programmes with the project team across a variety of disciplines, to support assurance and approval gates.
10. Carry out, reporting, analysis, and evaluation of the programme(s), looking at critical path and key milestones.
11. Support the risk management process building QSRA Programmes.
12. Ability to support Earned Value Reporting (as required)
Essential
13. Primavera (P6) knowledge
14. Ability to work on own initiative to develop programmes with the Project Team
15. Experienced in planning across all stages of the project lifecycle.
16. Experienced in monthly programme updating and reporting.
17. Experienced in the monthly review and assessment of supplier schedules.
18. Good understanding of risk and opportunity management with reference to planning & programming
19. Experience of working in a client environment.
20. Able to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of Stakeholders.
21. Good commercial awareness.
22. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular; Excel, Word, and Outlook
23. Able to gain Security Clearance
Desirable
24. Experience of managing schedules on NEC Projects, preferrable.
25. Experience of working on projects with integrated programmes, desirable
