About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Key Account Manager to join our Sales Team. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who is committed to driving customer success and commercial growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver strategies to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets across key accounts.
* Manage relationships with existing and new accounts, identifying opportunities and ensuring strong partnerships.
* Support sales channels through promotions, marketing initiatives, training, and pricing proposals.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, monitor stock levels, and share insights with product and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply.
* Analyse pricing, product trends, and market developments to inform strategy and maximise ROI within budget.
* Oversee service and returns processes, reporting quality issues and ensuring compliance with policy.
* Work with Finance and Senior Management to resolve payment/credit issues, manage SOAs, and complete customer audits.
* Present performance updates, growth ideas, and market insights at sales meetings.
* Stay informed on industry developments and attend brand and industry-focused trade shows as required.
Requirements
* 2+ year relevant working experience in a sales account management role within FMCG, buying background will be also considered.
* Proven track record of achieving KPIs, sales targets, and managing accounts and budgets.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
* Excellent numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and exceed sales and profitability targets.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work from our Leeds office minimum 1–2 days per week.
