SEN Tutor – Middleton (M24)
We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Tutor to work with learners in the Middleton (M24) area who need extra support. Our pupils may be out of mainstream education, or require additional help due to social, emotional, or learning challenges. You’ll be helping them build confidence, develop skills, and succeed in a safe, structured, and supportive setting.
Your role will involve delivering 1:1 tuition tailored to each pupil’s unique learning needs, adapting lessons for SEN requirements, and helping learners re-engage with school and education generally. You might work in the pupil’s home, in community venues, or at agreed local settings.
You’ll need:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Strong subject knowledge (English, Maths or other core areas)
* Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to each child’s pace
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
