Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives for Jersey Electricity's fuel switching programme, aligning with Jersey Electricity's decarbonisation roadmap.
* Oversee the sales team, ensuring operational excellence and high performance.
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory and funding frameworks, including JE own Governance requirements (e.g., CQS, EPC, LCHI, JE-ICM).
* Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including customers, community partners, and government entities.
* Monitor sales KPIs, financials, and delivery metrics—reporting to executive leadership.
* Identify and lead growth opportunities, including new product and service offerings.
* Champion innovation in customer experience and sustainability.
* Act as a public-facing advocate for low-carbon heating, representing Jersey Electricity's leadership in the energy transition.
* Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase awareness and drive engagement with the programme.
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Design and Delivery to ensure sales efforts are aligned with design and delivery initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* 10+ years in senior leadership role within sales, energy, renewables, or retrofit sectors.
* Deep understanding of customer energy needs and sales and marketing strategies.
* Proven ability to lead large-scale sales programmes and cross-functional teams to delivery, growth and value.
* Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management.
* A -driven mindset with a passion for innovation and making an impact.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating vision and engaging diverse audiences.
* Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging growth and development.
* Experience in building and maintaining robust relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, funders, community partners, and customers.
