Food Technology is a popular subject at GCSE, with strong uptake and positive examination outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and GCSE (A Level desirable) • Planning and delivering practical, theory-based, and assessment-focused lessons • Supporting NEA coursework and moderation processes • Maintaining high standards of health and safety in food preparation areas • Tracking student progress and implementing intervention strategies • Contributing to curriculum development within the Technology Faculty There is also opportunity to support enrichment activities such as cooking clubs and healthy living initiatives.
